Since all of our courses deal with Czech, applicants must have a native or near-native command of the Czech language. If you would like to apply for a study at our Institute, you should be able to read and understand our entrance exam requirements in Czech.

Typically, upon admission, applicants for MA study programs are expected to demonstrate their language (and culture) skills at least at CEFR level C1 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) for A and B languages. Upon admission, the levels of language competence and cultural competence are assessed in thorough entrance examinations (for details, see below).
