external lecturer at the Institute of Translation Studies, Faculty of Arts, Charles University, Prague, in charge of translation seminars focused on technical and scientific texts


Since 1992

freelance translator and interpreter, working with various EU institutions, translation agencies, government bodies, NGOs and companies, especially in the field of the environment, chemistry, energy, oil and gas refining, civil engineering, technology, Czech law as well as EU legal documents.


1993 – 1998

translator/interpreter and volunteer; voluntary work with several different Czech non-governmental organisations focusing on environmental education, information services for NGOs, and specialised educational projects (e.g. a series of seminars on lobbying, management and fundraising)
