Our library is located on the ground floor of the Institute building.
The library is newly equipped and holds about 12,000 volumes and periodicals in the fields of language studies, applied linguistics, cultural studies, translation studies and lexicography.

Identification cards for the library:
– A valid ISIC card or Charles University student ID card (yellow cards for foreign students) is needed to use the library.
– Cards are issued at the Charles University ID card centre.

* For technical reasons, Sweerts-Sporck Palace will be closed unitl further notice. During this time, the library will be open from Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please ring the bell at the main entrance to get in, and announce yourself at the reception desk.
